May Faire is community carnival event that is open to the public sponored by John Muir Elementary School PTA and organized by parent volunteers. John Muir is the smallest public elementary school in Berkeley Unified School District serving around 275 students. The May Faire is an event for the John Muir Community to get together to enjoy a near of the school year event AND open to future John Muir families and general public to experience the beautiful setting of our campus and the people of the John Muir Community. It is John Muir PTA 2nd biggest fundraiser of the year with over $10,000 the funds directly support students education, teachers and families in need. 

This year's event, on May 3rd from 5-8pm, will have lots of fun carnival games, face paint, music, performances, bounce house, cake walk, food trucks and conclude with our raffle drawing. To promote inclusivity and attendence, the event is free with carnival game waistband at a low cost, between $10-$15 per piece. Students can also get a free waistband by selling 25 tickets or more. Our raffle sell will run from March 29th-April 30th with over 6000 raffles sold throughout the bay area community. Tickets are $3 each or 4 for $10. We are looking for a few Grand prizes donations to help promote the raffle sell and get to our goal of $15,000 fundraiser goal!
