The Macoupin Center for the Developmentally Disabled (MCDD) is a day learning center fostering growth and independence for adults with developmental disabilities living in Macoupin County. MCDD is a nonprofit organization, meaning we do not receive state or federal funding. MCDD must host fundraisers and write grants year-round to fund our programs. Donations from our community are of the utmost importance to the Center as they allow us to host the most profitable fundraisers possible and provide exceptional care and supplies to our students.

We are excited that our upcoming fundraiser will be a dinner and band featuring Glendale Riders. This fun-filled night is on Saturday, April 13, 2024, in the Bates Building at the Macoupin County Fairgrounds in Carlinville, IL. MCDD will provide a delicious pork chop dinner catered by The Brass Door before the band plays. The event will include a silent auction and raffle items. Our estimated attendance for the evening is expected to be between 300-350 people. All proceeds from this fundraiser will help support the Center and the students it serves.

This is where we need YOU! Every donation, big or small, means the world to MCDD. As we work with unpredictable funds, it is vital to have the most profitable fundraisers possible. By donating an item(s) or offering a monetary donation, YOU are helping this fundraiser be the biggest success it can be. Our organization is gathering donations for silent auction and raffle items. Anything you would be willing to donate would be greatly appreciated and a tremendous help to the Center’s cause. We are asking to receive donations by April 1, 2024, to allow us time to assemble and advertise items for the silent auction and raffle.
