Spread the Word Nevada is the largest children's literacy nonprofit in the state. Distributing over 7.1 million books since 2001 and currently providing services and programs to 69 schools in Clark, Washoe, and Elko counties. 

We will be hosting an event to recruit volunteers to mentor students in our Books and Buddies centers. These volunteers are the heart and soul of the centers, dedicating their time each week to be a reading companion for the students. Donating refreshments and a sweet treat will be greatly appreciated and enjoyed.
