Mira Vista Lights is our annual Silent Auction Gala, happening on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Unitarian Church of Berkeley.  Your contribution of an item, service or gift certificate will help support Mira Vista Elementary School’s PTA. 

Mira Vista School is a Richmond K-8 public school and is in the top 5% most diverse schools in the nation. 58% of our families qualify for free/reduced lunch and we’re a Title 1 school. Our PTA is committed to ensuring that all of our students have equal access to enrichment and educational experiences beyond the classroom. The Mira Vista PTA funds art and music programming, garden and nutrition education, social emotional wellness initiatives, and teacher grants - but our largest contribution goes towards funding field trips. Each bus averages $1200 and with 36 classrooms, this means we aim to raise almost $45,000 for field trips alone. Your donation is tax deductible and Mira Vista’s PTA tax ID # is 94-6184036.

The auction is a fun and inexpensive way to introduce attendees to your business and/or service. Our event is expected to draw at least 150 supporters and participating businesses will be prominently featured in our event program. In addition, each program contains a “support our supporters” flyer listing contact details for these businesses, which will be distributed to the entire school representing over 350 households. Please be sure to include any marketing collateral, brochures, and relevant details about the item you donate, so we can include an accurate description for potential bidders.
