MnCAN Break the Barriers Fundraiser is a benefit to support programs and scholorships for stroke survivors and others affected by aphasia. 

Aphasia is a life changing loss of language and communication skills from a stroke or other neurological condition. The proceeds from the benefit will assist in supporting our practice groups that allow people with aphasia to enhance communcation skills, develop relationships, and participate in life again. It will support new groups for young adults with aphasia, encourage our partner care programs, promote the joy of singing through the aphasia choir, and provide scholorships for those in need of financial assistance. 

Due to COVID we have had to move this event to a virtual event on Sunday, September 13, 2020 @ 7pm-7:45pm. The online event will include an online auction (opening on September 9), inspiring stories, and more!
