MnCAN is a 501C-3 non-profit focused on helping those who have been impacted by aphasia. Aphasia is a life-changing loss of language and communication skills from a stroke or other neurological condition. MnCAN is devoted to providing support and practice groups to enhance communcation skills, develop relationships, and help ease the isolation aphasia brings. We work closely with local hospitals and clinics to educate about these opportunities. MnCAN developed additional programs for people with primary progressive aphasia and their care partners to help support those that are caring for people with aphasia. We have also an aphasia choir. Our goal is to help those with aphasia between to participate in life again.
