In support of The Volunteer Center of the Triad’s programs and services, the 2nd Annual Monopoly Night Tournament and Fundraiser will be held Friday, September 23, 2022 at the Conference Center at GTCC in Colfax, NC at 6:00PM. We invite you to participate in our signature fundraising event. In our inaugural year, Monopoly Night netted $15,000 after expenses. This year, our goal is to double that amount.

Since 1963, The Volunteer Center has helped nonprofits in the Triad recruit, train and retain volunteers that are crucial to fulfilling their mission. We have been a community convenor, standing ready to help in times of local and statewide disaster. We engage individuals in our community by creating meaningful volunteer opportunities. We advocate for volunteerism to unite our communities. And we engage corporate partners in the Triad by building partnerships. When you support The Volunteer Center, you are supporting dozens of nonprofit organizations whose missions make the Triad a better place to live.

To help us raise funds, we are requesting a donation of merchandise or gift cards that can be used in our silent auctions at Monopoly Night. As an in-kind contributor, your company will be recognized in local media and in our Monopoly Night program at the event and on our website.

We are expecting more than 250 guests for this fast-paced tournament of rolling the dice, passing GO, drawing chances and accumulating properties. Players will be competing for prizes, including a seat at the Championship Round Table and a chance at the Grand Prize of $1,000. There will be food, music, a wine pull and lots more, including a Jailbird Lounge cheering section where non-players can watch the action and participate in live and silent auctions.
