The upcoming 66th annual Band Carnival hosts family friendly games, bake sale, cake walk, bounce houses, a "chow" line and of course, live music from the the Middle and High School bands. In the heart of winter, this event brings lots of families together to socialize. But the major fundraising event during the Carnival is always the silent auction. We will be going online again this year to bring in a larger set of band supporters, especially out-of-town family members.  MontePTSA is happy to be a sponsor to assist the Fundraising Committee in collecting auction items to appeal to a broad audience.

MHS Band utilizes extra funds for: 

Music for Concert, Varsity, Jazz, Marching, and Pep Band
Summer Marching Band equipment and supplies
Yearly instrument repairs and needed maintenance. 
Purchasing new instruments as the program grows
Instrument rental fee reduction for some students
