MontePTSA serves to suppport the students, teachers and staff at ALL the Montevideo schools. MontePTSA has many projects throughout the school year:
- partners with the schools to welcome new students into the district;
- offers a $500 senior scholarship;
- provides special treats to all staff during Teacher-Staff Appreciation week;
- hosts an art gallery and literacy event every winter (Letters and Arts Night);
- donates enrichment grant funds to teachers and staff to improve their classroom;
- purchases mints for all students during testing week;
- rents two inflatables for all children as part of the community's annual Fiesta Days summer festival
