MS Resources of Central New York, Inc., is a 501(c)3 not for profit local health agency that provides local client services to persons diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in the Central, Upstate and Southern Tiers areas of New York State.

The MS Resources On-Line Auction originated due to covid, as a unique way to raise funds.  I was well received and this year we will conduct the 4th Annual.  This event raises between $ 15 and $ 23,000 for our agecny.

We solicit individuals and businesses to ask for donations of items and or gift cards for use in the auction.  We use a special website desighned to run auctions. We list the items, descriptions, pictures, value and the individuals and business donors information is displayed on the website next to the item The auction runs for 5 days and persons can view items and bid from the comforts of their home.  At the close of the auction the bidders with the highest bid wins the item and they are promptly notified.

This is a way for business to show their community support by donating to our charity.  As I stated their information is listed with the items donated. We have an email list of over 10,000 names that the information is sent to. we email a minimun of 6 times from the start to finish of the event. We have had over 4,000 views on items.

Getting items donated is the key to the success of this event.  I sincerely, hope that you will help us with this event by donating items, passes, tickets, gift certificates, or just about anything.  All items are greatly appreciated and will help us raise the funds do greatly needed.  The event will go live on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 and end at 9 pm on Sunday, November 12, 2023. We are requseting to receive items by October 13, 2023, as we need time to take photos, describe and log all items into the website.  Please keep in mind when donating items, such as gift cards with an expiration date, that the donors will not get the items in hand until November 14, 2023, so please allow an appropriate time for usage of the gift card.

The money raised will guarantee the continuation of client services to over 1,500 clients that depend on us in our service area.
