Please join us in helping celebrate our Residents and Staff during National Skilled Nursing Home
Week; May 14-20, 2023. The theme for 2023 is Cultivating Kindness— inspired by the many acts of kindness that happen in
skilled nursing care centers every day. Research has found that practicing compassion and kindness
not only can improve health and well-being but can also strengthen human connections and bonds.
We are reaching out to our local community to come together and help us spread kindness during this
special week. To boost morale of the staff that take care of our elderly, we are planning daily events and raffles to
give away all week long. For us to be able to do this, we are reaching out to the community to see if
anyone can help. Do you think it would be possible to donate something to Teresian House for this

Teresian House is a 300-bed Skilled Nursing Facility sponsored by the Roman Catholic Diocese of
Albany and operated by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged & Infirm, located at 200 Washington
Avenue Ext., Albany, New York 12203.
