Description

The Cure SMA Walk-n-Roll is the largest fundraiser of the New England Chapter of Cure SMA.  This is the 19th annual event, and it has become a gathering place and reunion for families affected by Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).  It is not an athletic event (the “roll” in the name is for wheelchairs and strollers) but a family-oriented walk through the scenic park, with games for the kids, refreshments, and a great raffle.   Items donated to the raffle are identified by a sign next to the basket and in a printed list given to all participants.  We also distribute a t-shirt to each participant, so there is an option to include donated items in the t-shirt bag.  Donations worth $250 or more are also recognized in a yard sign along the walking trail and on our website.
