Description

Oakland Terrace Elementary School (“OTES”) serves more than 500 students in a diverse neighborhood straddling Silver Spring and Kensington, MD. Oakland Terrace is also a Two-Way Immersion school with instruction for all students in both English and Spanish. The OTES PTA uses funds raised to support teachers and staff, to provide after-school activity scholarships to low-income students, to support student literacy, to maintain an educational school garden, and to hold community events including our Festival of Cultures and Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service.
