Description

On behalf of EXP, I am writing you to request a donation to be used in a raffle at our upcoming 20th Annual Dinner and Scholarship Celebration, Oceans of Opportunity, which will be held at The Carson Center on Thursday, March 26, 2020.

Enthusiastic EXP students from across Southern California will host more than 600 guests and share their experiences over dinner served by students in the culinary arts and hospitality pathway. In addition, several scholarships will be awarded to current students and alumni. Last year’s event raised more than $300,000.

EXP is a Southern California (501(c)(3) non-profit organization (FEIN: 74-3161465) that helps young people gain experience, unlock doors and build the confidence they need to succeed in school, career and life through career exploration activities, industry mentoring, summer internships, and college scholarships. By bringing schools and industry together, EXP is creating new ways of learning, knocking down barriers and bringing genuine opportunity to every student we can reach. We currently serve more than 6,400 students annually in 19 career pathways at 10 public high schools across three school districts in Southern California.

We invite you to partner with us today to continue engaging and preparing young people for academic and career success.

By supporting our event, you are not merely making a charitable contribution – you are also making a long-term investment in the future of your community. With your support, EXP students will gain the skills and confidence needed to become leaders in tomorrow’s workforce.
