Description
"Our Community Supports Survivors" SAAM Kick-off Event will be held on April 1, 2023 from 10am-2pm at The ArtCentre of Plano located at 902 E 16th St, Plano, TX 75074. (Next to Haggard Park) This is a family friendly event. There will be Zumba, a food truck, Survivor Gallery, and community partners. Program remarks will begin at noon and will include a keynote address by survivor and advocate Lavinia Masters as well as the mayors of Collin County proclaiming April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month for their respective cities. This community outreach event brings caring people and organizations together to help support and empower survivors of sexual violence and their families/friends.
