PARK FOREST POOL HISTORY: The Park Forest Pool (PF) has been a staple of our community since 1959 when Fox and Jacobs, who developed the neighborhood, built it as a gift to the residents. PF pool board members and many of its’ residents have volunteered their time and energy to keep this neighborhood gem operating over the years. We are non-profit organization; however, the PF pool has no paid employees and must stretch the small yearly profits from membership dues to cover normal maintenance costs, utilities, and all event-hosting costs (Memorial and Labor Day Festivities, 4th of July Parade and Picnic). Our pool is the heart of our community and has been bringing kids and families together for decades, and we take pride in keeping this long-time amenity around for future generations.

PARK FOREST POOL FUTURE: The pool board is currently preparing for our annual fundraiser in August to help raise funds for the continued renovation of our neighborhood anchor. Phase 1 of this renovation is now complete, which provides our community with a brand-new pool. If you have donated in previous years, we are beyond grateful for your contribution, we could not have done it without our generous donors! Now onto Phase 2, which is to upgrade the rest of our facilities and acquire the necessary equipment so that we can host swim meets and take our “Small but deadly” Piranhas swim team to the next level. Any in-kind donation you can provide will ensure that PF Pool and the Piranhas swim team continue to strengthen our community for future families. We had over 80 swimmers last year, ages ranging from 4-17 and we just keep growing! In addition to improving the neighborhood where you do business, you can market your goods and services to potential new customers. We are a 501c3 organization and will provide a receipt for any donations.
