The PHS Music Boosters Crab Feed & Silent Auction is our largest fundraiser of the year.  Attendees will enjoy a 7 course, crab focused dinner, prepared by the Boosters parents.  The Music students will help to serve dinner to the patrons.  The PHS Jazz Band will provide entertainment for the evening.  Attendees will be able bid on exciting silent auction items.

The school district gives only $4,000 annually to the Placer High School Music Department to fund all activities for the school year.  About 120 students participate in the Marching Band, Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Pep Band, Choir, Chamber Choir, and Drumline Programs at Placer High.  It takes approximately $25,000 annually to support the Music Department.  Our volunteer organization raises the necessary funds for operation to keep Music at Placer High.  We do this through major fundraising efforts, with our Crab Feed event being our largest fundraiser of the year.  All proceeds from our efforts are 100% benefit to the music program.
