Prepare for an exciting evening at our Spring Pulse of Perseverance (P3) Benefit - Empower & Elevate fundraiser
scheduled for May 16th at the Harold Washington Cultural Center in Chicago.
This Benefit marks the inception of our 2024 Signature P3 Events, where we unite to ignite inspiration and honor the
strength of perseverance. We'll unveil our revolutionary P3 App, designed to empower and elevate underprivileged
youth. Additionally, we'll celebrate the remarkable achievements of our scholarship recipients and our unwavering
mission to empower and inspire African-American youth by equipping them with a roadmap and resources for success.
Since 2018, Dr. Max Madhere, Dr. Pierre Johnson, and Dr. Joe Semien have dedicated themselves to reshaping the
narrative around black youth and dismantling inequalities. We aim to serve as positive role models, encouraging young
men and women from marginalized communities to aspire to greatness.
To fulfill our mission, we operate three key initiatives:
The Pulse of Perseverance Book: With over 20,000 units sold via Amazon, this initiative channels 100% of proceeds
into monthly youth scholarships, offering tangible support for educational pursuits.

Engaging Speaking Engagements: Through national and local speaking engagements, we uplift African-American
youth by sharing transformative stories and lessons, instilling motivation, and providing avenues for personal growth.

P3 App: Our innovative app eradicates barriers by fostering mentoring connections and providing intellectual spaces
for underprivileged youth. We empower young individuals to achieve their goals and strive for success through
support, motivation, and networking opportunities.
