On Friday May 31, 2024, the sixth annual Putting for Pups Golf Classic, a golf tournament, dinner and online auction will take place at Cinnabar Hills Golf Club in sunny San Jose, benefiting Canine Companions. The tournament will be 4-person teams, best ball format, shotgun start and will include prizes on various holes (for longest drive, closest to the pin, etc.) as well as prizes for teams with lowest gross scores (in multiple categories).  Golfers will be greeted by a Canine Companions puppy or service dog and their handler at each hole, making this a truly unique event.

Canine Companions is one of the oldest and largest service dog organizations in the United States. It was founded in 1975 and provides service dogs carefully bred and expertly trained in more than 45 tasks designed to enhance independence. The dogs are matched with people with disabilities free of charge.  We are fundraising to  help more adults, children and veterans with disabilities lead lives of greater confidence, independence and joy!

Additional guests will join the event for a hosted happy hour starting at 5:30pm followed by a delicious sit-down dinner, with presentations by Canine Companions and their service dogs.

Event sponsors will be acknowledged on social media, in the written program and on a banner appearing at the entrance to the venue.
