We are celebrating our Reading and Math Program STARS and have a Spelling Bee Competetion scheduled on November 21, 2024. Johnnycake Elementary Community School (569 students)  provides assistance with high percentage of children from low-income families to help ensure that all children meet challenging state academic requirements. Te focus of this event is to acknowledge our student's literacy success and positive performance in reading and math strategies in the classrooms. During the last three years, our reading scores increased significantly from 16.2-51.5% and math scores increased from 17.1-65.5%. We applaud their success and commitment to reading and math whle recogognizing that many students have also been able to overcome their reading and math obstacles. As a result of these accomplishments, we would like to award Spelling Bee Competetion winners. Many of these students that were low achieving have focused on demostrating proficient and advanced levels of achievement. it is our vision to produce the highest performing students as a result of creating, sustaining and investing in a culture of deliberate excellence. Johnnycake Elementary Community School continues to strive to craete and expand programs and offerings to the community.
