Description

Hello! My name is Deanna Rayner, and I am writing on behalf of Rossmoyne PTO (EIN 47-5555662). Our organization is an independent and local PTO unit organized by the parents and teachers at Rossmoyne Elementary School in Mechanicsburg, PA. Our mission is to advance the physical, moral, intellectual, and mental well-being of all Rossmoyne Elementary school students. We raise funds to meet our mission by bringing together parents and teachers and working towards a common goal.

At Rossmoyne PTO, we will host a Spring Fair and Basket Raffle/Silent Auction event on Friday, May 19, 2023.  This event allows families an affordable, fun night out together while raising funds to cover the cost of educational field trips, teacher and student supplies and other school programs while.  We aim to make school fun and enjoyable for all students and promote a positive learning environment!

As a Title 1 School, we rely on the support of generous individuals and businesses in our community. We would be grateful if you would consider a donation for our event. Rossmoyne PTO is a 501c3 charity and your donation is tax deductible! Over 500 staff and students along with their families attend this event so it is a great place to feature your business! Here are some ideas of what we need:

  • Event sponsors: Donations to event assure that any student, regardless of their background, can attend the fair at their school!  43 % of our student population come from lower income families and we want to assure all students are included!
  • Event supplies: This can be in the form of donations to purchase needed supplies or items such as promo bags (yep, you can include your branding!), plates, napkins, cups, food/drink items to provide to volunteers and attendees and lots of other things!
  • Game Prizes: We provide prizes for all games. Game prizes are a student favorite, and we need a lot!
  • Raffle Prizes: The raffle features local and national businesses, family favorites and popular products! You can donate a product, item or gift card for your own brand OR you can sponsor a basket through a tax-deductible monetary donation and the PTO will purchase a popular item sponsored by YOU to feature at the event!!)

Our school community is a wonderfully diverse population. We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, gender, national origin, disability, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, or other basis prohibited by law. We strive to promote equality for all students and families.

Thank you so much for your consideration and support!
