Our organization is an independent and local PTO unit organized by the parents and teachers at Rossmoyne Elementary School in Mechanicsburg, PA. Our mission is to advance the physical, moral, intellectual, and mental well-being of all Rossmoyne Elementary school students. We raise funds to meet our mission by bringing together parents and teachers and working towards a common goal.
Rossmoyne PTO raises funds to fully cover school field trips, programs and school supplies. Most of these are not funded through the school so our fundraising efforts are vital to our school popultion. 43% of our students come from low income families and many do not get to experience learning outside of the school itself. As a Title 1 School, we rely on the support of generous individuals and businesses in our community and beyond.
