The San Joaquin Heart & Stroke Walk celebrates lifestyle changes and encourages participants to pledge a healthy lifestyle while raising funds to provide life-saving research and initiatives. The Heart walk is attended by hundreds of people each year and funds raised go towards the American Heart Association directly. With the support of organizations like yours, fundraising events are held and money is  raised for cardiac heart research but most importantly these funds go specifically towards pediatric cardiac research for our children who are born with or acquire heart disease, and ultimately, they are our future! This Shrimp feed is one of many events throughout the year held in which the American Heart Association relies on to raise funds and these efforts make the Heart Walk successful.
