Hello, my name is Nicole Snyder, and I am participating again this year in the AHA’s Annual Heart Walk. Our Heart Walk Team members raise funds specifically for pediatric cardiac research for the American Heart Association in memory of my son Jacob Ryan Wells. Jacob had a heart disease called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. On April 26, 2011, at the young age of six years old, Jacob lost his battle with this disease. I am dedicated to raising funds for this organization to make a difference and help other children dealing with heart disease.
Jacob was such a true inspiration to so many people, and if you knew him you would agree! It is my intent to carry on his memory with turning a tragic life experience, into a purpose, by helping advance medical technology. I want provide support and assistance to families that have children battling heart disease by means of raising funds for research. Jakey touched so many hearts during his short little life; he was my miracle, blessing and will ultimately always be my "hero"!
In September 26th, 2020, the American Heart Association will hold its annual Heart Walk for San Joaquin County. The Walk is a healthy, fun, family event and I urge you to join us. It focuses on exercise as an important part of a heart-healthy lifestyle while generating charitable contributions. Dollars raised will support the critical cardiovascular research and community education programs of the American Heart Association. My team is considered a “Mom’s with Heart” team; all funds my team raises goes directly to pediatric cardiovascular research. Last year, Jacob’s Heart Team raised $16,060, thanks to businesses such as yours for support and donations.
This year, I am again planning our annual Shrimp & Tri-Tip Feed at the Italian Athletic Club in Stockton, on April 10th, 2020 and a Golf Tournament in September. I am asking your company for donated gifts to use towards a silent auction and/or for raffle prizes. Any gift(s) you can donate to make our events and our fund-raising efforts a success would be appreciated. Any monetary donation and/or donated gift become a tax-deductible contribution for your company; (Tax ID# 135613797). If your company would like to purchase tickets for the Shrimp Feed dinner as well, they are also available, please contact me.
