Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue will host an online silent auction to benefit it's rescue and sheltering of cats and kittens from the streets of RI.  Proceeds will support treatment of the cats and kittens who often enter its care with serious medical needs.  

The animals at Scruffy Paws are provided with all basic care plus spay/neuter, deworming, flea treatments, microchipping, neonatal care of kittens, and medical exams from licensed veterinarians. When needed, medical care is provided which may include eye treatments or removal, limb setting or amputation, and a variety of treatments for ailments that plague cats that are neglected, abandoned, stray or abused.  Scurffy Paws has a daily average of more than 100 cats in its care, many who stay in loving foster homes until they are ready for adoption.  Others stay at the shelter where they recieve continuous medical care and lots of love from staff and volunteers.  

In September 2022, Scruffy Paws recieved the Mario Hilario Animal Compassion Award for its work in supporting animal control services, aiding in the rescue of hundreds of homeless cats and finding them loving forever homes.
