Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of homeless animals living in unfavorable conditions by providing those who are abandoned, unwanted, and stray, food, shelter, veterinary care, rehabilitation, and the opportunity for adoption into loving forever homes.
Specializing in the resuce of cats and kittens, Scruffy Paws is known for its willingness to take on the most severe medical needs of sick and injured cats. During the difficult times over the past few years, Scruffy Paws has provided support to communities and animal control services with severely stretched resources.
This dedication to serving so many that would not otherwise have a chance earned Scurffy Paws the 2022 Mario Hilario Animal Compassion Award.
Scurffy Paws relies heavily on volunteers and donations to maintian its services. The daily average of cats and kittens in its care ranges from 100-130. Scruffy Paws saves lives, four paws at a time.
