Inform Your Community (IYC) will be holding its Second Annual Fun Today, Changing Tomorrow Gala on Thursday, June 15, at The Lofts at Prince in New York City. Our game-themed event will feature a band, volunteer awards, a live auction, a silent auction, and a virtual auction. Last year’s gala was a free, community-building event. This year, we’re hoping to raise $10,000, all of which will go toward our programming.

IYC aims to maximize the power of authentic entertainment experiences to provide relevant, impactful information to children and adults of all ages through fun, free, and meaningful events. These events facilitate knowledge acquisition encompassed by the four C’s: civics, civic engagement, civility, and civil rights. IYC is an entirely volunteer-run organization, and our virtual events and craft kits for kids and adults are offered at no cost. In 2022, around 2,000 people joined our events—this year, we hope to reach even more!

We expect an audience of approximately 75 people, ranging in age from 22-75. We estimate that around 8500 people will see or hear a donor's name through our email list, social media accounts, and click-through traffic on our website. We would be happy to acknowledge donors in our gala program and annual report as well.
