Since first opening our doors in North Texas in 1982, a Wish with Wings has had a single mission: Granting Magical Wishes for Young Texans with life-threatening medical conditions. From that first Wish of a Big Bird backyard playset, granted in 1983, to today, we have served over 1,600 Texas children and families, giving them the gift of a special wish, while providing them with joy, laughter, hope and happiness, and the magic of a lifetime of memories. As we celebrate our 40th year of Granting Magical Wishes, our goal is to continue our mission and to ensure that no child’s wish is ever left unfulfilled due to lack of funding.
