What powerful words to describe HOPE – something so fleeting and intangible. It’s what we see on the face of a child who learns that his or her one true wish is about to come true. A child who, through the despair and uncertainty of a life-threatening medical diagnosis, still believes in the power of Hope and the expectation of a better tomorrow. We call it the Magic of a Wish.
We often hear from medical professionals how they believe that HOPE can be a powerful healing source…a spark that helps pull us from the depths of despair. The light that shines despite the darkness. And in the craziness and despair of the past almost two years…we all need a spark to remind us that there is still hope that tomorrow will be better.
A 501(c)3 organization founded in 1982, a Wish with Wings™ was Texas’ first wish-granting agency. As we celebrate 40 years in service, we have granted over 1,700 wishes to Texas children fighting life-threatening medical conditions.
