The Shenandoah Police Department K-9, Chaplin, and Reserve Programs are asking for your help. We will be sponsoring our 2nd Annual Golf Tournament on July 9th, 2022 at 1 pm. The tournament willl be takinh place at the Shenandoah Golf course at 1800 S Elm St, in Shenandoah, IA 51601. Proceeds from this event will raise funds for our K-9, Reserves, and Chaplin Programs. We are hoping to raise enough money during this event to provide very necessary equipment, training, and assistance for each of those programs. These programs also pitch in money for our "Shop with a Cop" event held during Christmas time. This program gives Low-income families a chance to make Christmas come true for children who would not otherwise recieve Christmas. Low-income families come into the police department and sign up their children to "Shop with a Cop" for Christmas gifts. One child is selected per family by random drawing, and they shop with a cop for Christmas gifts not only for themselves but for their siblings as well. During our golf tournament event, we will be giving away door prizes and hole prizes. We will aslo be having a silent auction for larger donations. 

We are trying to obtain an assortment of items and any donations will gladly be accepted. Your company name and donation will be listed and shown by local news and media sources. We are also in need of hole sponsors for this tournament. The cost to sponsor a hole is $200 per sponsor. If you are interested in being a hole sponsor and entering a team, you can do so at the discounted rate of $300 for both. A meal and registration start at noon. 

Also, if you are interested, we are recruiting teams to play in our tournament. This will be a 4-person team and cost $240 per team. Which includes a meal on us. To sign up please call us at 712-246-3512.
