The banquet is our way of looking back on a successful week of raising money for the Huntsman Cancer Foundation and recognizing donors and sponsors that helped make the week possible. I am currently looking for prizes and items to advertise in our raffle for the event. The venue and catering of food will be around $2500 and I am expecting around 80 guests charged at $30 to at least help go close to even. A donation to help with the catering and venue cost would help extremely in maximizing our efforts to raise money for cancer research. The goal of this banquet is to finish the week with alumni and parents, and to explain “Derby Days” and where our money is going towards. I am hoping this will be a big day for receiving donations and selling raffle tickets. Again, sponsors and donors will be recognized at the banquet. Top-donors will be awarded for their assistance in our fundraising efforts. 

Recognition - Throughout the week, any sponsors or high donors will be advertised and promoted at every event for the week and banquet. UTSA is a campus filled with nearly 40,000 students, so the brand will reach a large audience of people aged around 18-24.
