Silent Auction
Other Event Type for Parent Boosters USA/ Morse Elementary PTOApr 22, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Morse Elementary School, located in Troy, MI will be hosting our annual Silent Auction on Friday April 22, 2022. Our elementary school is unique in that it is very diverse, both ethnically and economically. Over half of the student body speaks a second language and 4 out of every 10 students qualify for free or reduced lunch , which means the families are living below the poverty level. As a PTO we work to provide each student with opportunities their families would otyherwise be unable to afford. These opportunities include: field trip admission, bussing to field trips, books to read at home as well as books to read at school, educational apps, backpack food program for weekends, help with holidays, assemblies, classroom magazines, additional classroom materials and anything else we need to support our students. The auction will provide funding for continued support of our student body.
The auction will be held at Joe Kools in Troy, MI. The event will be a live and silent auction with all monies benefiting the Morse Elementary PTO and the school itself. Donations needed include: business services, attraction passes, tickets to sporting and or entertainment facilities, restaurants, gift certificates, jewlery and gift baskets. Monetary donations are also welcome and appreciated.
As a donor, you will receive publicity for your business prior to and during the event. We will be sending out more than 500 invitations. Also, your business will be promoted in the catalog on display during the auction, advertised in our school newsletter and on the Morse website and Facebook page.
Morse PTO is a non-profit organization officiated with the school, so the value of your donation is tax deductable; our tax ID number is: 84-4422457. Our 501 (c)(3) status comes from our parent organization, Parent Booster USA, tax ID number: 30-0281785. Please submit any donations no later than April 8, 2022.
We thank you for your consideration.
