Morse Elementary School is located in Troy, MI a part of Metro Detroit. We have ~450 k-5th graders. Our school is unique in that we have a very diverse student body both ethnically and economically. Over half of our students speak a second language. 4 out of every 10 students are eligiable for free or reduced lunch and therefore their families are living below the poverty level. The Morse Elementary PTO works to provide students with as many opportunities as possible as many families are unable to finacially do so for themselves. We offer field trip admission, bussing to field trips, books to read at school and more books for at home reading, educational apps, backpack food program for weekends, help with holidays, assemblies, classroom magazines, additional classroom materials and anything else we can provide to support our students.
