Dear Friend of Mickey Cox Elementary School,

We are writing in the hopes that you will consider supporting our school by making a tax-deductible contribution to our Silent Auction. The auction is our most successful fundraiser and is held in conjunction with our school’s Spring Carnival. Money raised is used by the Mickey Cox Parent Teacher Club for a variety of purposes, such as playground equipment, computers, team uniforms, and additional supplies for the classroom. Your donation can be in the form of a gift certificate and or merchandise. Your donation can be mailed to the school at the address below or a scheduled pick-up can also be arranged.

Your donation will be recognized and published prior to the Silent Auction, during the Silent Auction, and also in the school’s monthly newsletter after the event. We are proud to offer you an opportunity to reach the family and friends of our over 600 students who participate. Examples of popular auction items from previous years include business gift certificates, items from small business owners or specialty shops, vacation getaways, hotel stays, and dinner gift certificates.

The U.S. Department of Education has recognized Mickey Cox as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. Mickey Cox has also been recognized as a California distinguished School by the California Department of Education. Mickey Cox Demonstrates Academic Achievement, community involvement and additional supportive programs above and beyond the expected school program. Support from businesses such as yours enables us to reach the standard of excellence we strive for.
