South Park BMX will hold the first State Qualifier race of the Pennsylvania State BMX race series on May 14th, 2022. This event will draw families and participents from the state of Pennsylvania, these are events are our chance to hold auctions and raffle fundraisers that will help us in maintaining the facilites and provide support to our racers. 

Dear Business Owner/Merchant:

I am writing on behalf of the South Park BMX organization. We are a locally operated, non‐profit organization that provides a place for children and families to ride and race BMX (bicycle motocross) bikes and compete with other riders of the same age and proficiency. During our race season (April through November), we host several practices and local races as well as a PA State qualifier race and PA State Championship.

Although the South Park BMX track is located within a county park and is open to the public, it is the sole responsibility of our volunteer South Park BMX organization to maintain the facility, the buildings and the track itself. As a volunteer organization, we cannot do it alone. We rely on generous business donations and fundraising efforts to provide much needed support.

The reason for this letter is to request your help with our Pennsylvania State Qualifier scheduled for Saturday, May 14, 2022. The race which will feature a basket auction and raffles made up of merchandise and services generously donated through businesses and organizations. We expect over 200 local families, as well as hundreds of families from across the state. We hope you will consider making a donation – whether it be monetary, product, gift cards or even a basket for the Chinese auction. Every penny earned from our fundraising goes back into the care of the South Park BMX facility and in exchange, your business will be providing valuable community support and receive widespread visibility through recognition and credit of your donation to the track.
