Spaghetti Dinner and Live/Silent Auction Fundraiser
Gala/Party for Sevier County Council On Aging/ My People Senior Activity CenterMar 18, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Dear Community Partners,
The Sevier County Office on Aging provides meals to homebound seniors on a monthly basis. Through the efforts of volunteers, partners in our community and staff, this program served over 37,000 meals in 2021 and is trending to serve just under 40,000 meals in 2022.
The meals that we serve are frozen and are delivered every two weeks to seniors that are either unable to afford food or are unable to prepare meals due to health issues. Along with the meals we also provide soups, fruits, oatmeal, cereals and desserts as an added effort to serve their nutritional needs.
This program is not a funded program. We rely on fundraising events, Sevier County United Way and other partners to help us in our effort to ensure that no senior goes hungry in Sevier County. We have have planned a spaghetti dinner, live and silent auction event on March 18, 2022 and are currently requesting items for auction from our community businesses. We would be grateful for any financial donation or items towards our live and silent auction.
