The My People Senior Activity Center, built in 2002, offers a range of programs, activities, and services primarily for older adults age 60 and over. Most programs are free or are offered at a nominal cost. The Sevier County Council on Aging is also located at the Senior Center, and provides information and referral plus a wide variety of services, including a senior housing program.

In addition, we are the largest Senior Activity Center in the State of Tennessee with close to 5k members.  We provide trips, daily activites, classes, Medicare and Social Security enrollment and meals to homebound seniors.  Last year, we served 37,000 meals to homebound seniors.  Unfortunately, this is not a funded program.  The United Way provides part of our funding, but we rely on community partners and are responsible for fundraising to meet the gap in our meal outreach program.
