Description

This fabulous event will include entertainment from the “Queen of Boogie,” Sue Palmer, as well as a dinner reception, cocktails, dancing and the opportunity to bid on unique items and unforgettable experiences through a live and silent auction.

Proceeds from the event will support our high-quality productions and ensure that SRT can continue hiring high-quality actors and crew members, and bringing unforgettable performances to the stage. In addition, the event will support our Education and Community Outreach Program, which brings the experience of live theater to hundreds of underserved youth throughout the San Diego region every year.

SRT’s productions deepen a love of live theatre among diverse San Diego audiences by producing shows that both expand their horizons and access their emotions, all while enjoying a collective experience with their community peers. The SRT Education and Community Outreach Program strives to preserve San Diego’s arts and culture community by bringing the experience of live theatre to children throughout the region. Many of the children served attend Title 1 schools throughout the region and have never been exposed to live theatre arts. For children, early exposure to the arts leading to lifelong appreciation and involvement, strengthening the sector as whole. This results in productive, happy citizens vital for a strong future economy and in the cultivation of the next generation of arts patrons and participants.

We would be extremely grateful if you would support our efforts by donating an item to include in our silent or live auction.  In return for your contribution, you will receive exposure to a new audience, as well as thousands of dollars in marketing benefits through printed event materials, e-blasts, website and social media, which reach more than 2,500 households.
