We are asking for donations to support our annual fundraiser, Spellbound for Literacy. As the first in-person event since COVID, we are looking to provide our guests with wonderful experiences that many of us have had to postpone. Our event is an adult team spelling bee open to all in our community. Along with friendly competition, guests will enjoy gourmet appetizers, entertainment, raffles, and live and silent auctions.

As an adult literacy agency in a refugee resettlement city, we work primarily with immigrants and refugees so they can gain the skills and confidence needed to thrive in our community. We not only provide English language and employment services, but also one of our biggest programs, Family Literacy (focus on parenting in America, healthcare, child development, American culture, etc.). We are going to receive more refugees to our area in the coming months and need the resources to be able to support our community as best as possible. We are grateful for the chance to provide an item that our guests will truly enjoy so we can reach our goal.
