Spin-A-Thon 2023
Other Event Type for Old Colony YMar 25, 2023 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
On Saturday, March 25, 2023, the Old Colony YMCA in Stoughton MA will be holding our 13th Annual
Spin-A-Thon to support the Annual Campaign. Individuals will be riding spin bikes in one hour increments
to raise awareness of the important work the Y does in local communities. Our riders are getting ready to
go, and our amazing spin instructors are ready to lead the day!
Over the past 12 years, Old Colony Y has raised more than $2,000,000 and welcomed more than 5,000
Spin-a-thon participants who have helped Old Colony YMCA serve children and families in need
throughout our local communities. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the Old Colony Y has been
helping children and families most at-risk by delivering food and basic goods every day. Since March
2020, Old Colony Y has provided more than 250,000 meals to families throughout Southeastern MA.
Additionally, the Y is providing shelter to families experiencing homelessness and offering mental health
counseling to individuals already struggling with crisis.
None of this would be possible without the amazing support of our community members, volunteers, and
generous donors. This year, our annual Spin-a-thon event will help the Old Colony Y raise crucial funds to
support these ongoing efforts. I am writing to request your support in our event by donating items for our
silent auction. Our goal for 2023 is to raise $95,000 for our Stoughton branch, and your silent auction
donation would help us to reach our goal! Your business will be recognized as a raffle donor on social
media and be seen by all who attend. Your donation is tax deductible. Our 501(c)(3) number is 04-
2125014. Donations can be mailed directly to:
