Bibbidi, bobbidi, boo! We’ll see YOU at Spread the Word Nevada’s very special - 20th Annual Storybook Gala on March 4, 2023.

Hail your pumpkin carriage and break out the glass slippers because we’re having a ball! Join us as we celebrate 20 years of the Storybook Gala by bringing to life our featured fairytale, Cinderella, at the beautiful ARIA Resort & Casino in a way that only Spread the Word Nevada can do. Complete with themed cocktails, stunning décor, networking opportunities with the valley’s finest, and auction items that really will make your dreams come true, this event will be one for the books – storybooks, that is.

The Storybook Gala is our largest fundraiser, hosting 600 guests, and raising funds to support Spread the Word Nevada’s mission of getting books into the hands and homes of children in need throughout Nevada. As part of our fundraising efforts, we host a fantastic live and silent auction where attendees can support an important cause while also snagging some of the most amazing items and experiences that the city has to offer.

We are seeking fun and unique items valued at $200 and above to be included in our live and silent auction offerings at the event.

Your contribution will be recognized at the event inside our beautiful printed program. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the item(s) you donate will go directly back into our programs, allowing us to serve even more children.

In fact, because of donors like you we have distributed more than 6.8 million books (and counting) to children in need our inception in 2001. The children we serve are among the most vulnerable and are part of the nearly two-thirds of American children living in poverty who have no books in their homes. We know that Spread the Word Nevada plays a critical role in solving this ever-growing problem, but we also know that with you by our side, we can do so much more.
