We are a small 501c3 nonprofit school, with an equitable tuition model that allows us to be more than 50% mid to low income families. We rely on fundraising to help us with our general operating budget, so that we can continue to be one of the most affordable private schools in Washington, DC. We are in our fourth year of operations, and have tripled in size since our first year! Our students are taught to think critically, manage their own time, set high academic goals, and see themselves as capable of anything at or above their corresponding grade-levels. We are big fans of using our surrounding community, and partner with local businesses for our Art, Music, Drama, and PE lessons, in addition to teaching the value of public spaces through having recess at a local park and checking out our books from the public library. Our annual online fundraiser is helpful to raise community awareness, create excitement over supporting us, and to raise as many funds as possible!
