Lakeshore Elementary School is a diverse and inclusive school community, committed to providing a rigorous, equitable education for all students while giving children the opportunity to develop as resilient critical thinkers and empathetic community members. We are seeking your help as we solicit donations for our spring auction. Over 50% of our families are low income, and we are one of San Francisco’s most diverse schools, so your support for Lakeshore can have a huge impact. This school year has been hard on students and teachers, who struggle to catch up from our year of distance learning while also meeting the ongoing challenges of the pandemic. The programs that your donation make possible will bring joy back into the student’s lives, while also giving teachers the resources they need to get students back on track.

We pride ourselves on supporting a holistic approach to education through enrichment activities funded by the PTA, such as Art, Motor Perception, Science in the Garden, Capoeira, and Yoga. We also supplement teachers' classroom budgets with grants and supplies. Finally, we connect our community through events, meetings, and a volunteer-run communication platform that keeps the families and educators of over 400 students informed.
