Through its mission of service, St. Joseph's has long been committed to providing the highest level of care for Central New York residents, regardless of their ability to pay.  St. Joseph's Health Foundation's fundraising event – Annual Golf Classic – will be held at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino, Verona, NY on September 8, 2022 for the first time since 2019 due to the pandemic. The Classic is instrumental in helping achieve the hospital's mission of service. On average, more than $35 million of the hospital’s annual operating budget is comprised of charity care, unreimbursed services, and costs for community service programs. St. Joseph’s Health is committed to providing compassionate care for all individuals, including many who are among the uninsured and underinsured.

In 2019 over 300 golfers participated in the Annual Golf Classic and the event netted more than $160,000.00 - similar net proceeds and attendance are anticipated for 2022. Proceeds from the Golf  Classic will have an immediate impact on lives of our patients. With reverence for all people, St. Joseph's Health is dedicated to compassionately providing a continuum of care throughout the lifespan.
