Each year our Summer Reading Program grows to include more children, teen, and adult programs and participants thanks to continued community support and donations. 

Our theme for 2023 is All Together Now! Our Summer Reading Program promotes reading over the summer to prevent the "summer slide," a decline in reading ability and other academic skills that can occur when school is not in session. The program also fosters an ongoing love of learning for all ages in all areas, including science, engineering, arts, and  music. More recently, through outreach programs we have been giving away books to local educators and children. 

We are asking local businesses to donate a prize or prizes to The Milton Public Library Summer Reading Program. These prizes will be given away at the end of the program as a reward for particpating in our Summer Reading Program, which will run June 1 to July 29th. 

In addition to helping us reward our library patrons for participating in our program, a donation would help promote your business and help foster a sense of community in Milton and the surronding area. 

We will be advertising all donations on our Summer Reading materials and advertising, social media, and the Milton Public Library's website.
