The Friends of the Children’s Library of Huntington Beach is preparing for its annual silent auction fundraiser that is held during the Kick-off Carnival for the annual Summer Reading Program. The event will be held at the Huntington Beach Central Library branch on Saturday, June 21, 2025. Last year close to 3,000 people attended the event. The silent auction relies solely on the generosity of businesses like yours that donate the items up for bid.

Your donation of gift cards, products or complimentary admission tickets/vouchers for our event’s silent auction will help us raise funds for children’s services and events. 100% of the proceeds from this event will be used for the Children’s Library.

In addition to a wonderful collection of books, the Children’s Library also provides many services that encourage raising readers. Last year:

·       Offered reading challenges such as Summer Reading, In-N-Out and other programs to over 13,000 readers

·       Number of books checked out from Children & Young Adult collections – 543,924 books

·       “Best Story Telling Time in Orange County” for the third year in a row from Parenting OC Reader’s Choice Awards
