The Guidance Center, founded in 1946, serves nearly 3,000 clients a year in our Long Beach, Compton, and San Pedro clinics, and through school-based programs and community outreach events. 

For over seven decades, it has been our mission to support disadvantaged children and families, some who are victims of trauma or abuse, providing comprehensive mental health treatment through a variety of programs and services. With 100% of our clients identifying as low-income and oftentimes from underserved communities, we strive to uplift and empower the children and families we serve by increasing access to vital resources and services.

Our annual spring gala, Sunset Sip, is an opportunity to highlight client success stories, provide program and organization updates to our donors and community partners, as well as fundraise through our silent and live auctions. As we join together at this year’s Sunset Sip: Planting Seeds of Hope 14th annual gala event to raise money to support children and families struggling with mental illness and lack of access to basic needs, we encourage you to contribute to their futures by providing a donation to our silent auction.
