In celebration of our 20th anniversary, BAYS is hosting a special event—our Superbloom Soirée: 20th Anniversary Party and Fundraiser. This 250-person event will be held on Saturday, October 21st, 2023, during Breast Cancer Awareness month at Mockingbird Restaurant in Oakland,CA.  Attendees will include BAYS members, their families and friends, and special guests.

We have set a $100,000 fundraising goal for this event. By meeting this goal, we will be able to serve more than 100 new members in the coming year. We will also sustain our meaningful programming for all 800+ members for years to come, such as: support group meetings, social and educational events, a vibrant online network, direct financial support to members in need, community outreach and cancer prevention education.
 
This year, we’re excited to finally break ground on our BAYS-MITC Memorial Garden in Golden Gate Park to honor the memory of members who have passed. In addition, we also provide support groups and activities for metastatic breast cancer members in our Mets in the City (MITC) subgroup.
