The Andy Rice Trade Scholarship (ARTS) is a 501c3 organization providing new opportunities for careers in the trades.

In the last decade, the U.S. has faced an extreme shortage of skilled workers. Employers continue to struggle to find trained, qualified workers who are able to meet the needs of the demands for trade labor.

The ARTS organization, founded in honor of the late Andy Rice, is dedicated to supporting young adults interested in productive, lucrative, and rewarding careers in the trades.

Though “The Trades” encompass a wide array of skills and careers, the ARTS focuses on Skilled Construction Trades.

We are excited to kick off our fourth year in educating and engaging St. Louis students who are interested in the Trades. Recently we expanded our signature ARTS programs and events to include Trades Days, Trade Talks, Construct your Future opportunities, and Trade Tours in order to best serve our growing number of students and trade partners. In order to keep up with our mission, we need your help!

The 4th Annual Swing for the ARTS is our first of only two fundraisers this year. There are many ways to get involved and to support the ARTS even if you aren't a golfer! We are honored to accept donations, sponsorships, silent auction items, or to volunteer. Check our our website for more information!
