Soroptimist International of Antioch is part of a global service organization founded in Oakland, California in 1921. Soroptimist International of the Americas (www.soroptimist.org) clubs are located in 21 countries & territories with nearly 30,000 members and supporters.

The Antioch club has been serving our community since the mid 1950’s and has shown strong commitment toward improving the lives of residents, especially women and girls. We advance the local & global community through financial support and hands on service. Some of our signature projects are:

➢              Live Your Dream: Education & Training Awards for Women

➢              Get Real Academy (female high school students in Antioch)

➢              Dream It Be It: Career Support for Girls

➢              Support of Delta Learning Center

➢              Support of Shepherd’s Gate

➢              Thanksgiving & Christmas meals for the disadvantaged

➢              High School & College scholarships

➢              Stand Down on The Delta (homeless Veterans)

➢              Woman of Distinction Award
